Patch ai, Nostra's QA agent, runs a full pass over the TRUEWERK storefront across desktop and mobile devices, checking functionality, usability, responsiveness, and overall customer experience. Coverage spans the complete shopping journey from homepage through collections, product detail pages, cart interactions, and checkout.
Functional and usability defects detected across the shopping journey, each documented with reproduction steps and video capture.
Eight functional and usability issues were surfaced, spread across four areas of the shopping journey. Each may negatively impact customer experience and conversion.
Validation exercises multiple methodologies across each supported device and browser combination.
The following were verified and confirmed during validation.
Verified that no caching issues were identified.
Validated the functionality and consistency of the homepage, collection pages, product listing pages (PLPs), and product detail pages (PDPs).
Verified the filter, sort, search, shipping promo, and pagination functionalities.
Verified responsive behavior across supported devices and browsers.
Confirmed that page content, images, and other assets loaded correctly.
Verified that navigation menus, links, and call-to-action (CTA) buttons functioned as expected and were consistent with the origin site.
Each issue below includes reproduction steps, observed behavior, expected behavior, and a video reference.
Some gallery images intermittently fail to render, causing a blank white image to be displayed.
Each gallery image should render immediately and correctly while navigating through the image gallery, with no blank white images displayed.
The cart drawer intermittently opens as a blank white drawer displaying only an “undefined” message instead of the cart contents.
The cart drawer should display the newly added product along with the complete cart contents without showing a blank screen or an “undefined” message.
The Quick Add modal does not preserve the variant selected on the product card and instead displays a different (typically the default) variant.
The Quick Add modal should preserve and display the same variant that was selected on the product card.
The sticky “Add to Cart” CTA behaves inconsistently. In some cases, it appears with a white background that blends into the page content, making it difficult to notice. In other cases, it displays with the expected black background. Occasionally, the sticky CTA does not appear at all while scrolling.
The sticky “Add to Cart” CTA should consistently appear while scrolling on all product details pages and maintain the expected black background to ensure it remains clearly visible and easy for users to identify.
/products/crew-werksocks (Crew WerkSocks)/products/werkbelt-d-ring (D-Ring WerkBelt)The single product image is left-aligned within the gallery, leaving a noticeable empty space on the right side. This may give users the impression that additional images are available by swiping.
Products or variants with only a single image should display the image centered within the gallery, eliminating unnecessary empty space and providing a cleaner, more intuitive user experience.
When the user clicks the “X” icon on the “Notify Me When Available” modal, only that modal should close, while the underlying “Quick Add” modal should remain open. Each modal should only close when the user explicitly exits that specific modal. Closing the “Notify Me When Available” modal should not affect the visibility of the “Quick Add” modal.
The currency and prices remain unchanged in both the checkout and cart pages after changing the shipping country.
The displayed currency and corresponding prices should automatically update in both the checkout and cart pages based on the newly selected shipping country.
The behavior should be consistent across all platforms. Clicking or tapping the browser's Back button should restore the user's previous scroll position immediately, without briefly displaying the top of the collection page or a blank white screen.
The TRUEWERK storefront provides a generally stable shopping experience, and no caching issues were identified during validation.
Eight functional and usability issues were surfaced across the shopping journey, each documented with reproduction steps and video capture. Addressing them would help improve site reliability, reduce user friction, and support higher customer satisfaction and conversion rates.
Every issue in this report was found by Patch ai. Patch works through the storefront the way a customer would, on desktop, iOS, and Android across Chrome and Safari, following the full path from homepage into collections, product pages, cart, and checkout. It exercises the interactions real shoppers rely on, including variant selection, quick add, filtering and sorting, out-of-stock flows, image galleries, and back navigation.
Each finding is recorded with reproduction steps, a severity rating, and video of the failure, all included so the team can review and validate each issue directly.
